The Razer Kishi Review!

Today, let’s talk about an accessory aimed at mobile gamers, or even console gamers who would love to play anywhere, but without sacrificing the maneuverability of a gamepad! But what accessory are we talking about? The Razer Kishi! An accessory designed for mobile gaming but with the same ergonomics of a console controller!

But, how does it work?

The Kishi is intended for Android and iOS devices. But be careful! There are two kinds of Kishi, one with a USB-C port and another with a Lightning port for iPhones. The price varies depending on which model you choose, between $ 130 and $ 150 Canadian! Let’s talk about the one with the USB-C port, this one is compatible with most new smartphones. How do I know if my device is compatible? Very simple, your device must have a USB-C port centered at the bottom of your device. Most Samsung, Razer and Google Pixel phones are compatible with it! Here is a technical sheet for the most knowledgeable among us!

Height: 145.3 to 163.7 mm (5.7 to 6.4 inches)
Width: 68.2 to 78.1 mm (2.8 to 3.1 inches)
depth: 7.0 to 8.8 mm (0.28 to 0.38 inch)
depth: 7.0 to 8.8 mm (0.28 to 0.38 inch)

But, how does it feel to play with the Kishi?

The first time you get it in your hand, the Kishi looks… plastic and very light. The joysticks are well placed but the buttons look low quality .. they don’t click. Once your device is inside, the weight becomes similar to that of a traditional controller. (PlayStation dualShock, Xbox One, Stadia). Once the game starts, you will forget about the feel of the controller and you will be distracted by the game you are playing! Can we explain the lightweight of the Kishi because it does not have the weight of the vibrators and also does not have the weight of the battery?

In conclusion, the Razer Kishi is perfect for small gaming sessions. Easy to carry, it will give you the ability to play anywhere on the go. Compatible with some Android games, the Razer Kishi will make you rediscover games and a new way to play them! Personally, I love my Kishi but I find it to be too expensive! If you really want it, I suggest you get it when it’s on sale, sometimes it has it on Amazon. If you have any questions about the Kishi, do not hesitate to contact me on discord, it will be my pleasure to clarify for you!
