Edit: We are aware of a bug some users are experiencing with our new URL (https://theluna.life) not correctly redirecting from its previous destination to this site and we are working with our networking team to fix this as soon as possible. Please be patient while we work on a resolution.
We launched The Stadia Life with the goal of making fantastic Stadia-related content available for everyone to be able to read, watch, and listen to. With the recent successful death of Stadia, lack of any new games, lack of 4K on every single game, and launch of Amazon Luna; it is clear that The Stadia Life can no longer exist. Having a site to report on cloud gaming is still our future, and we will continue to invest in Cloud gaming and its underlying media coverage to provide the best cloud news experience for our fans and the gaming community. This has been the vision of The Stadia Life since the beginning.
In 2021, we’re expanding our efforts to help you take advantage of our editorial prowess and deliver articles directly to our core audiences. We see an important opportunity to work with the best cloud gaming platforms seeking an outlet to push their product on The Stadia Life’s advanced audience-reaching platforms. We believe this is the best path to building a cloud gaming news site into a long-term, sustainable media source that helps grow the community.
Creating the best-in-class content from the ground up takes many minutes and significant brain power, and the cost really isn’t changing. Given our focus on reporting on the best technology as well as our relationship with our audience, we’ve decided that we will not be reporting further into Stadia or continuing with the name The Stadia Life beyond any near-term planned articles. With the decreased investment in the Stadia technology platform, we have decided to leave Google in pursuit of Luna. We greatly appreciate Stadia’s contribution to cloud gaming and wish them a swift and gentle passing in these most unprecedented times. Over the coming hours, most of the TSL team will be moving to work with Luna. We’re committed to shilling hard for Luna and hoping for Amazon to support us.
What does this mean if you’re a current or future TSL follower? You can continue following The Sane Luna-tics on this site using our new URL (http://theluna.life) and on Twitter, and we’ll continue to bring news from Luna to our various social presences. We’re committed to the future of Luna and will continue to do our part to drive the platform forward. Our goal remains focused on creating the best possible content for Luna fans and our Amazon overlords, bringing these insights to life for people everywhere.
